Podium in Lima
This weekend I got things back on track with a podium finish at the Lima ITU Pan American Cup. It was a solid race from start to finish. After leading most of the swim I found myself in a breakaway with another athlete, Irving Perez (Mexico). The two of us fought hard on the bike to build a 40 second gap before duking it out on the run. Irving earned the victory, but I was pleased to grab 2nd place and a healthy amount of world ranking points.
With this performance I’ve broken into the top 100 triathletes in the world, and am currently sitting at 97th. Of course there’s still lots of work to do, but I’m heading in the right direction!
Thank you to all my marketing partners, friends & family! I really appreciate your support!
